When I rescued my tiny 4 lb chihuahua, he did not have any hair and was recovering from a horrible case of mange. I bought tiny sod socks and tuned them into a slim fitting shirt, then put these over the socks. This helped his open wounds heal faster as the bandages held in place. I did cut the back off bc it that too long, but now he is healthy and they fit him well. These don’t have much strength, but they are cute and have withstood many washes w bleach to get blood and dirt out.The fit is true to size, based on the measurements provided. Poly/cotton blend is typical t-shirt material and weight, not overly soft, but comfortable with a little stretch and plenty of give. Easy to put on, and looks adorable. Size L fits my 13-lb. adult Shih Tzu mix very well (and she's a little fluffy in the hips).The dress is adorable, and the harness works beautifully.I love the shirt my dog looks adorable but because he is so fluffy it makes the shirt tight. But it's a very nice light weight shirt.Only issue I had was that it wasn't the same material quality on both. One was smaller and no give in the material. But overall I would buy again. I just use the tighter one when she's freshly groomed.My dog loves itI bought a size large for my 1 year Cockapoo who weighs about 12 lbs. It fits her nicely and she typically has a fuss over any clothing on her body. She played fetch easily and forgot the shirt was even on her. I like how light and easy the shirt is to put on her.one medium t-shirt fit perfectly on my 10 lb chihuahua. the second t-shirt was an extra small and did not fit at all.A nice lightweight tshirt . I purchased the XS. These fit my 3.5 pound yorkipoo nicely. I have purchased several of these by Drooling Dog Co as the fit is roomy and comfy. Our little one has quite the wardrobe as she is quick and can get underfoot. Her tshirts make her easier to see. The fact the material is so lightweight is a huge plus for us as she is constantly wearing them.
