I can't say enough about these boots. I took a risk ordering them due to no other reviews to base my decision on, but it paid off! They are true to size (I'm a spot-on 6) and the only boots I own that don't need an insole of some sort to be comfortable all day. That's not to say the foot bed is cushioned, really, but they are just comfortable. The insides are fully lined in a flannel-like material, nice and soft. The outsides are a sort of brushed leather look, but not quite suede. I'm 5'3" and these come up about 3 inches below the bend in my knee which I was looking for. I have somewhat athletic calves, but these are so roomy that I don't really need to unzip them to put them on. But they aren't too roomy, either. They fit nicely over skinny jeans as well. Get these boots, you will love them!
