Did my research and looked at numerous portable soft crates and decided to go with this one and so happy I did. Purchased 2 for our 70 and 30 lb. dogs. Easy to set up and transport. The material and mesh windows are durable. Don't think my 70 lb. rescue was ever crated because he was afraid of it. Played a game and put a treats inside or a ball and had him retrieve it. I also put all the mesh windows up and put his bed in there so gets used to it. Used it the first time for a ride to the groomers and I thought he would paw at it or chew and he was quiet stayed still. Main reason for purchasing is so he doesn't jump from seat to seat and scratch up the inside of my new SUV. Works like a charm. I did get a thicker pad for long trips. The pad that comes with it isn't very thick. Otherwise, very pleased.Easy to set up and fold. Light and portable. Perfect for travel or at home. Bought large for 2 Rottweilers. Great productPicked up my new rescue. It worked as advertised and I would recommend it for SUV travel. The product photos (like first one shown here) are FALSE advertising! The other photo is the product I received (no long carrying straps).I decided to buy this crate since it showed BOTH and carry handle AND straps that look like you could carry it over your shoulder. THERE IS NO SHOULDER STRAP AS SHOWN IN MULTIPLE PHOTOS FROM THE COMPANY. For that reason, I rated it 3 stars.I need a crate to use at dog training classes since the dogs are supposed to be crated until their turn at agility, nose work, etc. I wanted one with the over-the-shoulder strap so I could carry it and walk my dog into the building at the same time. And this looked perfect. Unfortunately, the pictures lied.On the positive side, it is sturdy, easy to set up. And the thin pad is nice. For this it deserves a 5/5 star.I DID NOT RECEIVE THIS PRODUCT FREE.I got this crate so I wouldn't have to lug around a metal crate or playpen every time I needed to leave my dogs on a vacation or trip outside the home. This worked great. The material is remarkably durable and the screen material isn't bad either, although my dogs have never tried to paw at it. The support structure just slides together in seconds and I bet I could lay across on the top without it collapsing. The only negative is the zippers are cheap and get stuck and tear easily. It doesn't tamper with the usability but the one little piece that tore loose does make zipping past that area difficult. Luckily there are two doors so the other one always unzips perfectly. But the product is very easy to pack up and unpack, and considerably lighter than a metal crate too. This is my first portable, collapsible crate, and I'm really impressed. Given the one downside, I would still recommend this to anyone. We had a stray walk onto our property, into our hearts and is on his way to being a spoiled family farm dog. He is a Border Collie GSD cross and currently weighs 60 lbs of pure muscle. He has long legs and could walk into it, but after that he lies down. He might be a little large for the size we got, but he was able to lie down and have some space around him. He was very unsure of it which is odd given he has a larger metal crate that he sleeps in every night. This does come with a very thin pad with a cover that zips on so I think it can be washed. My husband likes the fact it has a zippered top, one zippered long side, and one zippered short side. It was fairly easy to put together, but the illustrated pictures for the instructions were rather confusing. Basically, you unfold the three sided bars that go on the sides and then there are two bars that swing out to meet those and they have a c shaped plastic piece that grabs the bars you just put up and there is a red tab that you lock those into place. The sides need some muscle to get them into the corners of the fabric, but it does help make it stable enough until you get the bars in place. This crate will be used for when our dog goes with us places as it will keep him safe and not wandering around the cars. We had been using the metal crate until we decided to keep him and picked this one up to have this one to travel and the other for his “bed” at home!We use this in the truck, for our two Jack Russell terriers, when we're going to the vet. We also use it in our RV, during travel, so they are always safe. Fortunately they are buds so they don't mind sharing. Both fit and seem content. They don't like being tied down in the vehicles so we tie this down and they are safe. I really like this and feel as if they're safe when we are traveling.I had no idea how giant this was going to be!! I was very surprised but pleased because I can fit a few of my smaller dogs in this, which is what I was looking for anyway! It's nicely made and definitely very sturdy. It arrives folded so you can see how easily it is to set up and then fold back up again if you're needing to travel with it. I'm able to use it as a comfy kennel for our pups here at home. I like it and I can see how perfect it would be for huge dogs!
