This adorable little dish set was far better in quality and looks than I could have ever imagined! It’s sooo cute. The colors are very pleasant to look at; not to girlish and not to boyish. I bought this for my kids to use as dinnerware, and they absolutely loved it! The cups, bowls, plates, and cutlery were perfect size for my little ones, my daughter and son said they couldn’t wait to have a tea party!This dish set works perfectly for eating real food and for pretend play! The sturdiness is just a tad bit flimsy, but other than that I’m sure this wonderful dish set will last years to come! What I also like about this set is that the edges on all the dishes are rounded off so there is no rough edge, this set was definitely well made. And I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for either a dish set for using at the table or pretend play! (On a side note, I was really impressed with the cutlery, very good quality, even better than some of the expensive ones in stores, I also was really happy with the knives, they’re able to cut bread but are not sharp enough to hurt anyone).Though I highly recommend to wash the dishes first. ❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️??????I don't know if you're actually supposed to eat out of these, but these teeny little cups and bowls have been an absolute lifesaver for us. Sometimes when the kids ask for a cup of water before bed or naptime, we just get out one of these teeny tiny little cups and give them just a tiny bit of water in that, and they don't complain because a tiny bit of water in that cup actually looks like a reasonable sip.Those bowls are really great for snacks because you can see what kinds of things are in there and reach everything, which is a lot better than using a little cup.The utensils and plates seemed useless to us although our kids liked playing with them outside, and the picture was just okay. But we really loved the quality and colors of the set and actually bought a second set because we liked the bowls and the little cups so much.I purchased this sweet set of dishes for our granddaughter's 2nd birthday. I am very impressed with the colors, soft yet brilliant. It comes in a nice case (plastic) with a carrying handle for storing the dishes after the picnic is over. The dishes and utensils are perfect for play. If desired, they are just the right size for a child's lunch.I did not open the case, as it was locked with a zip tie. So I can't comment on whether or not the dishes had an odor. I am very sensitive to that dreaded plastic smell. I did however store it in my home for about a month. It never bothered me.I would recommend these dishes for any child.I'm a little biased because I LOVE B. Toys. I've purchased about every one of their products for my daughter from Target. I got these as a Christmas gift for her because they aren't sold in any Target near me. It didn't disappoint. It has the lovely B Toys zany look and the product is a bigger than I assumed which is amazing! I won't have a chance to really know how they hold up until December but from what I can see it is worth every penny!Happy that this set is made with PP, a safer plastic. This dish set is definitely a favorite for my little one. She is only 1, but she loves the little cups, bowls, and utensils. The pitcher is a fun addition, too. Daughter uses them all the time with her fake food and real food. Plates and cups are a little small for real food/drink though.This is the best set of plastic play dishes I've ever seen. There are nice patterns you can't really see well in the pictures carved into the bowls & cups. And the colors are so nice, much better than the bright red/green/blue type dish sets (in my opinion anyway). I'm not sure if a kid would care either way, but these will look great in you play kitchen!
