We were introduced to this by English Bulldog Rescue. Our girl was not doing well with steps and her activity level was very low. Added one scoop a day to her food, she became a totally different girl. She has more activity and can use the steps with no problems.Hard to guess level of pain relief nor flavor other than fact that dogs have regularly eaten supplement with food once a day. All our dogs for last fifteen years or so have used this fine supplement. Run Free keeps an active dogs joints in great shape. We have two active dogs; a Golden retriever and a Flat-coated retriever and we regularly use Run Free in combination with Canine Complete with joint mobility. A+My 12 year old Tibetan Terrier does very well with this product. I had ran out for a couple of weeks during a move across the country and I could tell he was showing signs of shaking legs m when he attempted to go up a couple of stairs it just trying to get up. I won’t run out again!I was pretty skeptical of this product when my vet recommended it. But, I must say it has made a big difference in my dog. We're not sure exactly how old she is, but we think probably around 5yrs. She was clearly having some troubles with her hip joints and wasn't very active. After a few weeks adding this (at only half the recommended dose) she was running around like a puppy again!Best ever works awesome have an ,8year old doberman and only this would help his back legs I recommend this love this product and I bought many other products they didn't even help so I will countiiue to buy this one only I also buy the soft chews they are also very good.I adopted an 8 yr old husky mix that no one wanted because of bad hips. I have been giving her this since December 2015 and I can not see any signs of her bad hip. she jumps and runs. So I guess I am a big believer since I have seen the proof.My dog has such significant food sensitivities that she cannot take the vet recommended joint supplement because it has artificial flavor and within two doses was itching like crazy. I switched to the Wholistic Pet Organics since it had nothing artificial or added to it. My dog has done great with it...gets up smoother (she has bad knees from several surgeries) and the best thing is it doesn't cause any allergic symptoms.This helped my beagle immensely! He was limping and not putting pressure on one of his hind legs after resting. After a week on this he was without limp! All my dogs get it now. It's expensive, but well worth it.
